9 Feel-Good Movies To Get You In The Spirit of the Season
This time of the year, some of my favorite movies start re-surfacing and I couldn't be happier. Here are some of my top picks to get you in the holiday spirit (in no particular order):
Jingle Jangle
I know this movie just came out, but it's already up there. You've got Black people, singing and dancing spreading holiday cheer? Yes, please.

New Year's Eve
My best friend Peyton and I could watch rom coms every day. My favorites are the star-studded ones with an all-star cast, just like this! Sarah Jessica Parker, Zac Efron, and Ludacris? Come on.

The Ultimate Christmas Present
I was born in 1996, so I grew watching all the Disney Channel classics. Don't ask me how many times I tried to control the weather after watching this movie.

The Perfect Holiday
Gabrielle Union is my girl, and Morris Chestnut is as fine as they come. I love seeing Black romance that centers two dark skin leads. So this movie really makes me smile.

Just Friends
I think Anna Faris is so funny. I'll watch anything she's in. The comedy in this movie is so well written, I could watch it any time.

The Best Man Holiday
Honestly, I think this movie is better than the first one. Debate your mother. This movie was excellently written. It was funny, heart-wrenching, and full of beautiful Black men. 10/10, highly recommend.

Elf
Will Farrell is one of my favorite comedy actors. This movie is so cute and fun. If you don't like it, you're probably a grinch.

Home Alone
Need I say more?

Ghost of Girlfriends Past
Have you ever seen an actor that you just know you'd like, even though you never met them? That's Matthew McConaughey. He's always the perfect love interest in anything he's cast in, and his smile is infectious. Plus the modern play on "A Christmas Carol" instantly makes it a Christmas movie, right?
